**Examinations Officer - North London -Secondary School**
A successful North London Secondary School are seeking an ambitious and talented Examinations Officer to join their school on a full-time basis.

**About the role**
The successful Examinations Officer will maintain and further develop their outstanding examinations system. They will ensure effective and efficient exam provisions for students and staff. The Examinations Officer will lead on all aspects of examination set up across GCSE and vocational programmes, entries, organisation, delivery and outcomes. High standards of communication with staff, students, parents and examination bodies will be essential to ensure the very best outcomes for students.
The school have strong foundations in place to enable the successful Examinations Officer to grow within their professional community whilst working to secure the best outcomes for students.
**Main Duties**:
- To assist with entries for examinations to the examination boards
- To liaise with Subject Team Leaders on student entries and grades etc.
- To assist with production of exam timetables for mock examinations
- To publicise exam timetables for real exam series
- To disseminate information about examinations to staff, students and parents
- To liaise with staff, parents and students and support dealing with complaints, appeals and queries about examinations
- To sort and check examination papers
- To participate in all relevant training activities and meetings to ensure that all changes to examination regulations are available to the school’s and passed on to the relevant members of the Leadership Team and Subject Team Leaders
- To assist in keeping staff informed of syllabus and specification changes
- To assist in managing the school’s team of examination invigilators
- To support with the administration of vocational qualifications and keep teachers informed expectations and deadlines
- Supporting with the organisation of mock catch ups
- To assisting in the recruitment of invigilators
