**Imperial Personnel** have an exciting opportunity for an **experienced HGV fitter/ Mechanic** to join our clients Transport team in **Swadlincote**. You will be responsible for all services, Inspections and Repairs on all company commercial vehicles. determine, communicate & rectify repairs needed for the company fleet in order to maintain the fleet for maximum equipment life and mínimal downtime.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Inspect and service vehicles in line with the vehicle maintenance planning system.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard in line with DVSA regulations.
- Carry out repairs on all company vehicles in line with DVSA regulations.
- Perform all duties in compliance with Health and Safety and Department of Transport regulations currently in force.
- Report problems or issues as they arise, which may impact on product quality or Production activities.
- Undertake relevant training as and when required.
- Ensure all records where required, are completed accurately including inspections.
- Show respect for colleagues, customers and the environment.
- Have excellent time keeping skills and good work ethic with a can do attitude.
- Perform functions in line with training and work instructions.
- Undertake other duties from time to time, as the Company may reasonably request/require.

**Job requirements/Benefits**:

- 9 hour shifts (Basic)
- Monday to Friday (May be some weekend on call)

**Licence/Certification**:

- HGV Level 3 (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
- HGV Licence (preferred)
