About Us
We are a leading provider of supported living services, committed to empowering individuals to live independently. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled **Team Leader** to oversee and support a team of care staff, ensuring high-quality care and support for our clients. We look after service users with learning disabilities, mental health issues, brain injuries etc.
Role Overview
As a Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of support staff, ensuring the effective delivery of personalised care plans. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, promote independence for clients, and maintain compliance with health and social care standards. This role is perfect for someone with leadership experience in supported living who is passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- **Team Management**: Lead, motivate, and support a team of carers to provide exceptional support to clients.
- **Care Planning**: Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans, ensuring they meet clients' individual needs and goals.
- **Compliance**: Ensure services adhere to CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.
- **Training and Development**: Support and mentor team members, conducting regular appraisals and identifying training needs.
- **Client and Family Liaison**: Build strong relationships with clients and their families, maintaining open lines of communication.
- **Administrative Duties**: Manage rotas, monitor staff performance, and ensure accurate documentation for each client.

Qualifications and Skills
- **Experience**: Previous experience as a senior carer or team leader in supported living or social care.
- **Leadership Skills**: Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and staff.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong ability to manage tasks, schedules, and responsibilities effectively.
- **Compliance Knowledge**: Understanding of CQC standards and supported living regulations.
- **Empathy and Patience**: A genuine commitment to supporting individuals to live as independently as possible.
