Solutions Engineer
** to join us
This role, reporting to the Supply Chain Customer Development Director, International (Europe based) will be developing and implementing modern and efficient distribution and transportation solutions driving out Supply Chain costs, improving agility, servicelevels and health & safety. This role will be playing key role in Sysco International’s aim to provide world-class supply chain services to their customers.
This is a home-based opportunity, Location being flexible within the UK, Ireland, Sweden, France and Belgium.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be responsible for managing, developing and deploying modern and efficient distribution and transportation solutions across Sysco International countries while building on existing best practices
- Support countries and sites to solve different distribution and transportation challenges by providing expertise in different distribution and transportation topics and solutions for example, customer delivery process, route planning, TMS and Fleet
- Be on top of market trends in terms of distribution and transportation solution innovations and evaluate feasibility to implement within Sysco International
- Develop the business cases to support the change projects
- Would work in close alignment with Sysco global colleagues based in Houston
- Will engage with people from all levels across organization, from shopfloor to senior leadership Creating and deploying Transport and Distribution Solutions that will reduce E2E Supply Chain costs or improved service and health & safety
- Empowering and inspiring our Supply Chain operations associates, ensuring that everyone is effectively trained and resourced to achieve the groups targets
