**JOB SUMMARY**

We have an opportunity for a Assembly Operative to join a great team in our manufacturing site in Lymington.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Working within the team, reporting to the Team Leader, your role is mechanical and electronic assembly and testing using a variety of fixing methods, soldering, screwing and bonding with standard and specialist tooling and bespoke test equipment.

**Core requirements**
- Good manual dexterity
- Good visual acuity
- PCB assembly / cable assembly
- Ability to perform a variety of mechanical assembly and wiring
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions and drawings
- Ability to carry out testing, record results and identify issues
- Attention to detail
- Well organised
- Technically minded / analytical
- Enthusiastic and excellent work ethic

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Experience with potting and bonding
- Experience within an electronic/mechanical manufacturing environment
- Skilled use of hand and power tools within assembly process
- Hand soldering skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
