I am working with an excellent Upper school based in Wembley Park who are looking for individuals who can work with their students with special educational needs within their Alternative Resource Provision.

**About the role
- SEN Teaching Assistant**

The school are currently looking for 2 SEN Assistants with experience working with individuals with Autism and Speech and Language Communication Needs to work with students with additional needs both in the provision and within the mainstream classroom.You will be working with students across secondary year groups across a range of lessons so you will always have a varied and exciting timetable. This will be a full-time position, Monday-Friday during term time with an ASAP start. Individuals with experienceusing forms of non-verbal communication such as PECS and Makaton are highly desirable for this role. The school is very large with other 1000 students, so individuals who thrive in fast paced, busy environments will work best here.

- SEN Teaching Assistant**

The school has both Upper and Lower sites vacancies in their Secondary SEN. They are a mixed mainstream school that have Alternative Resource Provisions for students with Autism and/or Speech and Language Communication Needs and other complex needs includinghearing and visual impairments. The school are a warm and welcoming environment who truly care about their students and their academic outcomes. There are over 1000 students in the school, with 64 students using their resource bases and 200 students with someaspects of SEN so they encourage individuals with SEN experience to apply. Needs will vary from class to class so we need someone flexible, proactive and not afraid to get stuck in.

The school is based an 8 minute walk from Wembley Park station and is well served by both underground and bus routes so is easily accessible by all as well as having parking onsite.
