**Overview**

Working mainly unsupervised, after training you will oversee all waste streams generated from site and be responsible for the reporting and monitoring of this for compliance reasons. Once trained you will oversee the housekeeping of the site, maintaining the creamery facilities and undertake general building maintenance of site services. Cleaning as a daily task, you will work closely with the wider team, taking responsibility for looking after the shared facilities around site.

**Duties**
- Ground and site maintenance including, pressure washing, domestic cleaning of shared facilities, litter picking and general maintenance tasks
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, joinery and decoration of the site.
- Report to site Management as required for allocation of daily tasks and priorities for the working week
- Checking and recording of paperwork for deliveries and collections
- Organising contractors attending site for maintenance tasks, and being the point of contact while work is carried out
- Walk the site on a daily and regular basis ensuring all services and facilities are fully operational. Report any issues noted, resolve or arrange for such items to be resolved.
- Deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times.
- Be able to work in a flexible manner within the role, prioritising work load and completing tasks to a high standard
- Perform any other duties that may be reasonably required of you given the broad nature of the role and the time available.
- Managing Factory waste streams, co-ordinating skip hire, bailing of waste and managing rebates from recycling and return to supplier
- Set an example of good health and safety practice, organisation, quality of work and professionalism.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong building maintenance work, skills and knowledge
- Electrical qualifications preferable

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
