**About the role**
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for** Stock & Logistic Coordinator **to join our Omnicom rail team based in **Derby**

Within this role you'll manage goods in, stock holding and goods out processes, for all parts of the Omnicom Business

**What you'll be doing**
As a **Stock & Logistic Coordinator**, you will have the following accountabilities:
**Stock Control**
- Manage a secure stock location and manage a stock issue system
- Manage a stock control location system
- Control Min / Max stock level from usage over time
- Manage excess stock back into the inventory system
- Ensure issued stock is allocated to a Cost Centre and the value transferred from the inventory list
- Manage and document Warranty of equipment manage the return of faulty warranty
equipment and obtain replacement equipment
- Complete perpetual inventory checks

**Logistics**
- Manage the logistics of transporting equipment within the UK
- Manage any logistics for equipment which may need to be send worldwide
- Control the delivery of goods and update the delivery into the stock inventory
- Manage any bond, tax or import duties for equipment

**Who we're looking for**
The following qualities and experience are essential:

- Excellent Communication skills at all levels
- Negotiation skills
- Stock management knowledge
- Ability to understand our Customer and Business needs, and to prioritise work accordingly
- Understand Supplier relationship management
- Strong Commercial awareness
- Strong Organisational and time keeping skills
- Experience in running a high value stock
- Has successfully run simultaneous packages and delivered positive results

The following qualities and experience are desirable:

- Previously held a similar position within an associated Rail Company
- An understanding of legal framework and logistics Law, Bond, Import and Export Taxes
- Run successful stock control and warehouse projects
