As the Head of Communications and Engagement, you’ll play a key role in building on our achievements and driving our visibility in the outside world. You’ll bring your creativity, strategic vision, and hands-on expertise to the team, ensuring Oasis continues to thrive and make a difference.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance Oasis’s visibility and reputation.
- Identify and progress new business development opportunities
- Manage and develop digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across our website, social media, and other channels.
- Collaborate with the team to create content, manage campaigns, and engage with stakeholders.
- Lead and manage media relations, public speaking opportunities, and external communications.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts, adjusting strategies where needed.
This role involves working closely with the Oasis Directors Group and encompasses six key areas of responsibility:
- **Communications and Marketing**: Design and implement strategies to actively engage potential clients and programme participants, raise awareness of Oasis, and deepen engagement with existing and new audiences.
- **Digital**: Oversee and champion all web, social media, and e-communications to support recruitment goals, brand positioning, and client/practitioner engagement.
- **Business Development**: Support proactive processes to expand and strengthen the Oasis community through networking and connecting.
- **Administration**: Contribute positively to core staff group operations.
- **Financial Activities**: Ensure budget adherence and seek value-for-money opportunities in all related activities.
- **Personal Development**: Continuously improve knowledge, skills, and performance through training and self-directed learning.

- Has at least 5 years of experience in mid - senior level marketing and communications.

**Role Purpose**
The post holder will develop and implement the overall marketing, brand, and communications strategy for Oasis. Working with the Directors Group, they will ensure Oasis’s strategic direction and success by increasing outreach to new and existing audiences while enhancing engagement across digital platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Communications and Marketing**
- Develop and implement communications, promotions, and publicity strategies to expand Oasis’s reach and engage existing clients.
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency in tone of voice, appearance, and quality across all internal and external communications.
- Recommend and coordinate all communication activities to maintain a consistent brand voice and assess effectiveness.
- Align external and internal promotional strategies with Oasis’s values and ethos, ensuring national and international positioning.
- Develop relationships with media representatives and collaborate with clients’ communications teams to promote Oasis’s work.
- Represent Oasis at relevant networking events and forums to develop business opportunities and nurture relationships.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and agencies effectively.
**2. Digital**
- Oversee and manage Oasis’s websites, ensuring content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
