By the end of your training, you’ll be equipped to work on exciting projects that shape the future of digital services for both government and private sector clients.

**About you**:
You don’t need prior technical experience—just a genuine interest in technology, accessibility, a passion for user-centred development, and a desire to learn. We’re looking for someone who:

- Communicates clearly and works well with others.
- Is motivated to learn about accessibility and user-centered design.

You might come from a background in design, user experience (UX), human-computer interaction (HCI), or even something non-technical. If you’re eager to explore how accessibility testing works, this role is for you.

**Main duties**:

- You’ll be working as an accessibility test engineer on client projects, typically moving onto other client work after 6-12 months
- Working as part of Agile teams, collaborating on requirements, development and testing
- Responsible for accessibility testing features through automated, manual and assistive technology testing
- Responsible for writing audit reports
- Being part of a larger team - working with and learning from senior accessibility specialists and QA engineers.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and working within the team whilst on client site.
- Helping us to grow our QA practice.

**Requirements**:

- Strong degree in any discipline
- Enthusiastic, motivated, committed and capable individuals
- Passion for accessibility and user-centred services and products
- Genuine interest in a career in software development and technology
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a need for wanting to learn naturally.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with team members and clients.
- Understanding of Agile methodology is not essential but desirable.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle is not essential but desirable.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and manual accessibility testing tools (e.g. NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) is not essential but would be helpful to have.
