Real Estate Finance Associate

**The Team**
Our Real Estate Finance team is a sub group of our highly successful Real Estate Group and comprises lawyers with experience of (predominantly lender side) real estate finance. We act for a broad range of lenders from development finance platforms to global life insurance funds across the whole value and complexity curve.
We work very closely with our colleagues in our banking and finance teams to provide a seamless integrated service to our clients
We are keen to appoint an Associate to join our burgeoning Real Estate Finance team based in our Manchester or Birmingham office who will work closely with our existing team in London.
**Responsibilities**
- Managing the Real Estate aspects of real estate finance transactions, including title due diligence, input into finance documents, managing CP process and coordinating the closing process.
- In connection with certain lenders, preparing the relevant security package and preparing/approving corporate authorisations etc.
- Reviewing on simpler transactions the form of facility letter or loan agreement
- Acting for receivers and administrators on the sale of property assets following enforcement by a mortgagee
**Key Skills & Experience**
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in a rated Real Estate team
- A practical understanding of the fundamentals of a real estate finance transaction
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to transaction management
