Quotient are recruiting for Production Operators to join our Manufacturing Department.

The purpose of this role is to support the manufacture of high-quality diagnostic products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This role is based at our site near Penicuik (EH26 0BF).

There are full-time, permanent positions working 37.5 hours per week on a 3-week rotating shift pattern (0600-1400, 0930- 1730 and 1400 - 2200) available as well as full time, temporary 1 yr positions working 37.5 hours on a day shift basis available.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The main responsibilities will include:

- Support and Manufacturing of products to meet specifications and agreed schedules.
- Maintain accurate and legible records to ensure relevant laboratory documentation is kept in a satisfactory condition.
- Maintain equipment, in accordance with agreed procedures, ensuring equipment is operating correctly.
- Accurate filling, labelling and packing of products.
- Participate in continuous training and assessment in accordance with personal development plan.
- Maintain accurate stock control.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and appropriate regulatory requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Standard Grade or equivalent in English and Mathematics
- Excellent communication, attention to detail and IT skills.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, team-working environment.
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Experience within a GMP laboratory environment desirable.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Basic salary of £22,365 (+ 20% shift allowance for perm shift working roles).

- Should ideally be available to work occasional weekend overtime when required.
