Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
- Identify existing Automated Warehouse installations where the biggest improvement gains can be made for both the Customer and Dematic
- Working with the CS Sales Lead, identify the Customer’s Economic Buyer(s), or equivalent, and build trusting relationships
- Analyse the Customer’s Operation to establish objective improvement ideas utilising industry best practice tools
- Working with Dematic’s Design Teams (or others as required), turn ideas into working saleable solutions
- Assemble information from multidisciplined resources into a format which is presentable to the Customer to demonstrate the gains (reports, charts, presentations)
- Calculate ROI for the Customer to support improvement ideas
- Assist the CS Sales Lead to present new opportunities to the Customer
- Bring new ideas to Dematic (tools, Products, ideas) commensurate to this role
Knowledge and qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the Automated Warehouse environment
- Good understanding of the interaction between People and Automation to identify improvement initiatives
- Financial acumen to demonstrate if an opportunity is worth pursuing
- Worked with different levels within an organisation (CEO/CFO/ Engineering/Finance/Sales)
- Good industry Product knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of CI tools and techniques
- Experience of Automation modelling tools to i.e. demonstrate system throughputs, number of operators required
Technical Competencies (Or Local Equivalents)
- Analytical
- Command of Microsoft suite of programs
- Ability to turn an idea into a solution
- Working knowledge of CI tools and techniques
