You will join the Health Improvement Division within Public Health Wales to drive forward an applied programme of public health evaluation (extending to policy and practice), providing specialist advice and expertise across the Division and delivering support to our external partners. You will advance specific projects, scoping, designing and delivering work to determine the impact of public health related policy initiatives, practice and interventions on health, including our whole systems approach to healthy weight generating actionable learning for the organisation and partners and delivering trusted and academically robust evidence to inform action across policy and/or practice agendas at local and national levels.

You will develop practice based evidence in real time in addition to working with external academic partners to plan and deliver longer term outcome based studies.

You will bring experience of working on evaluation of complex public health interventions and programmes. You will use excellent communication and influencing skills to building collaborative working relationships across organisational boundaries.
