Emtec Fire Systems, a leading provider of innovative fire protection solutions nationwide. We’re currently seeking an experienced Estimator (Sprinkler Systems) to join us at our Uddingston HQ. **The Role**

As an Estimator (Sprinkler Systems) you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our business development efforts. Working on a range of exciting opportunities - from multi-site to stand alone contracts which are mostly of an M&E nature, you’ll provide expert estimation support and help us secure key contracts.

**What You’ll be Doing**
- **Prepare Detailed Estimates**: Deliver accurate, analytical estimates within defined timescales.
- **Bids**: Fully participate in the production and submission of all estimates and tenders.
- **Lead on Bids**: Act as Bid manager for when required based on the value and complexity of the tender.
- **Collaborate**: Work with the Operations Manager to review tenders, aligning with company standards. and participate in detailed risk assessment on all bids.
- **Innovate and Streamline**: Develop and maintain pricing data to enhance future bids.
- **Support other departments**: support the wider business development function with the production of bids when necessary.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in estimating, ideally in sprinkler systems or a related industry. es
- Strong understanding of commercial terms and contract conditions/
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Solid Knowledge of Fire and Security Standards, with the ability to stay updated on industry trends.
- Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing. Able to work with suppliers and gain competitive prices
- Experience in compiling Bills of Quantities and preparing proposals for submission.
