Adult Secure Clinical Lead

We are seeking to add to our already established clinical leadership in the SYB Provider Collaboratives and appoint to a Clinical Lead for Adult Secure Forensic Services.
The responsibility for commissioning and quality oversight of these services in the South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw region was transferred from NHSE/I Specialised Commissioning to the SYB Provider Collaboratives. From 1 st May 2022 South West Yorkshire Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust took up the role as the Lead Provider for the Adult Secure Provider Collaborative in SYB.
Each of our Provider Collaboratives have co-produced Clinical Models which drives a set of quality ambitions, clinical outcomes and commissioning intentions that will set the direction of travel to improve the quality and consistency of care provided in the region.
In order to effectively drive forward the Clinical Model as it relates to each of the identified areas, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced clinician to work with the SYB Clinical Director to ensure that our Clinical Model and planned future strategy is fully representative of best practice, clinical knowledge and information, relevant to our SYB patient population.
Chair/deputise for the Clinical Director in the oversight of complex referrals, patient admissions and discharges alongside the Case Managers. This may include oversight of Single Points of Access, chairing multi-agency bed management and patient pathway meetings.
Provide clinical expertise relevant to the clinical pathway including representing SYB at regional and national level.
Deputise for the SYB Clinical Director as required.
Develop/co-produce documents, frameworks and contribute to shaping ways of working across the Provider Collaborative, relevant to the clinical pathway, to support quality and service improvement.
Ensuring that patients, their families, and significant others are involved in the development and co-production of service transformation in line with agreed Clinical Models.

Clinical Lead responsibilities include (not an exhaustive list):
Membership of relevant clinical pathway specific governance groups.
Ensuring the Clinical Model and outcomes framework are being developed at pace and in line with national best practice guidance.
Being involved in and/or leading task and finish groups including deputising for the SYB Clinical Director.
Taking a lead to ensuring information/data is provided to inform clinical decision making, Clinical Model and pathways development.
Supporting partners to ensure good clinical engagement with various work streams/task and finish groups.
Providing clinical expertise and support to the SYB Commissioning Hub development including case management and oversight of clinical processes.
Providing clinical expertise and support into performance reporting and quality assurance when appropriate.
Engaging with relevant system partners including NHSE/I regional and national teams as well as TCPs.
