Our client based in Gateshead are currently recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Officer who will report directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager. The professional will provide strategic marketing support and implement a range of campaignsto support towards the overall objectives. This role will also work alongside the wider Marketing team to advise on best practice and generate new ideas.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Planning and implementing a range of marketing and communications campaigns through both digital and traditional marketing
- Producing a range of marketing materials from concept to delivery
- Writing engaging copy to target a range of audiences and maintaining the tone of voice guidelines
- Planning, sourcing and buying appropriate media to support with achieving marketing objectives
- Identifying story opportunities and developing content suitable for a range of platforms
- Managing and attending events and exhibitions
- Consistently using and developing the brand identity and guidelines across all channels and activity
- Effectively managing supplier contacts/sponsorships
- Working with the wider team to generate ideas and advise on best practice and sourcing new ways of reporting on KPIs
- Developing and managing effective working relationships with suppliers and partners

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Administrative experience
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
