Timeplan are working on a fantastic opportunity for a part time English Teacher to start work at a well-established school in Kent. You would be required Tuesday - Thursday each week until the end of the academic year.

To be considered for this role you must be a resilient English Teacher who has the drive to teach effectively with a positive demeanour. You will have the ability to 'hit the ground running', picking up your duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.Curriculum knowledge and classroom management is imperative; as well as supporting students through their GCSE's and functional skills emotional development.

The school caters for 150 students with ASD and communication difficulties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to engage with and inspire students
- To be able to monitor the progress of your pupils
- Plan and deliver effective differentiated lessons in accordance with the English curriculum

**Teacher Job Requirements**
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Hold QTS or QTLS
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and/or or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)
- SEN Experience, although the school will consider teachers from a Mainstream setting
- Strong curriculum knowledge
