What you’ll do
Be part of the Controllership and Tax as an Intern within the Cytiva Finance team and develop skills as a finance professional
**Develop technical proficiency in accountancy and tax through**:
- Supporting monthly financial closing activities including preparing accounting entries, account reconciliations, and assisting the wider Controllership team where needed
- Assisting in VAT and Tax/Transfer Pricing analysis to meet monthly and annual requirements
Develop project management and problem solving skills, and develop professional networking abilities through: identifying simplification and process enhancement opportunities; providing support on finance transformation projects
Build an understanding of financial controls and regulatory requirements through: supporting internal and external audits; assisting in VAT reporting requirements
Who you are
Excellent verbal written and visual communication skills including the ability to understand complex information and present it in an easy-to-understand manner
A team player with a hunger to learn. Reliable with excellent time management.
Interest in working in finance or tax
Excellent knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office suite and strong general aptitude with IT systems
