The specific role will be aligned with the interests of the successful applicants and the client workload.
The role on offer is a trainee/entry level position.
It will include a mixture of both on-the-job learning as part of a team & formal study.
In addition to acquiring hands-on skills, the formal study will lead to exams & certifications such as the following:
- Azure Fundamentals
- Azure Data Fundamentals
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch. This is very much dictated by the nature of our client engagements.
There is limited scope for home/remote working (typically 1 day per week) as this is a trainee role. Working closely as part of a team with your colleagues in the office is critical for knowledge transfer.
**Qualifications and Skills**
The minimum requirement is a 'STEM' degree in computing, maths, physics or engineering.
You must be willing to self-study as preparation for professional exams & certifications.
Excellent written & verbal communication are required. This includes Teams video meetings during which the camera will be mostly expected to be on.
We spend a lot of time using MS Office products such as Outlook, Word & Excel.
Any prior experience with Linux, Python, Java,.net or SQL is beneficial but not essential.
If you can demonstrate enough chops in technical skills such as these we may forego the minimum education requirement.

**Benefits and Perks**
This is a salaried position for a fixed-length 12 month training contract.
- The expectation is that those successfully completing the 12 month training contract will be retained on a permanent basis. However, this is not guaranteed as it also depends on the predicted client workload at the time._
We are based in modern offices at The Plaza in Liverpool city centre with good public transport links.
A laptop with MS Office and all other required software will be provided.
All training costs & exam fees are covered.
