We are a top 200 Law Company that specialises in personal injury and consumer claims. **Consumer Claims Litigation Assistant -**The Role: We litigate a number of different claim types within the Consumer Claims Litigation team, including: - Plevin Claims - Non-Plevin PPI - Mis-sold loans and mortgages - Mis-sold financial products by brokers - Mis-sold motor finance As a Litigation Assistant within our Consumer Claims Litigation team, you will assist our fee earners in both pre-litigated and post litigated work. **Consumer Claims Litigation Assistant -**Key Responsibilities: - You will be supporting a lawyer with their caseloads and helping to manage their client relationships - Client care is an important part of the role, ensuring that clients are happy with the progression of their case - Legal Research - Drafting letters of claim, drafting of court documentation, instructing counsel, collating bundles & taking notes. - Taking witness statements - Keeping the case management file fully up to date - Making sure the initial attendance is correct - Reviewing DSAF responses from lenders - Document analysis **Consumer Claims Litigation Assistant -**You: We are looking for people who have strong legal academic achievement (LLB, LLM, LPC, GDL). Usually this will be in tandem with relevant work experience, to show a desire for litigation as well as strong commercial acumen. Experience of litigation is desirablebut not essential. We are looking for people who show professionalism, maturity and aptitude for client handling and ability to deal with pressure. You will be expected to take responsibility for the tasks in your remit.
