**Platform Specialist**

**Salary between £40,000 - £50,000**

This is a great opportunity for an experienced change delivery professional or someone who would like to gain experience of change delivery within our Data & Analytics Platform Team (DAP). You will be supporting key strategic initiatives within the organisation. This is a great opportunity to work with colleagues in Life, GI, Customer and Marketing and IT to deliver a key programme.

**A bit about the job**:
You will support initiatives focussed on Data Governance, carrying out the following day-to-day activities: Initial Engagement with projects and business requestors to understand high level requirements, discovery and shaping activity with data teams to produce high level solutions, estimates and plans and detailed estimating and planning, working with delivery teams to confirm resource requirements and costs.

This role may have leadership responsibility for a team of Software Engineers and designers (including Aviva staff, contractors and GSPs) including supporting the team through delegated tasks including work scheduling, budget monitoring, coaching and problem solving, induction, training, and helping with recruitment and performance appraisal and development processes.

Other responsibilities include stakeholder management for supported deliveries - supports steering groups, runs project meetings, RAID (Risks/Issues/Assumptions/Dependencies) management, including timely resolution of issues and blockers, engagement with Service and Release Management to ensure the provision of controlled environments and release management processes to support change and continually improve the quality and effectiveness of DAP deliveries through use of delivery metrics, reviews and feedback.

**Skills and experience we're looking for**:

- Whilst having previous experience of managing and delivering change would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who is:

- Strong Data Governance knowledge and experience
- Good engagement and communication skills
- Strong organisation
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues and challenges
