Panda Sourcing Ltd is a clothing supplier to online retailers and high street stores with over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Fashion Designer** to join our small friendly team. You will support our Designer in developing designs for clothing, footwear and accessory products for various markets and brands.

The role is to cover maternity leave for approximately 10 months, starting from mid/end April and will be based in our Office in Washington Tyne and Wear.

**As Fashion Designer, your responsibilities will include**:

- Researching trends and collating mood boards.
- Attending internal client brief meetings to present research and design ideas.
- Creating and developing clothing, footwear and accessory designs with particular attention to placement prints and repeat pattern design.
- Producing detailed tech packs for factories, to ensure costing and sampling is accurate.
- Communicating with factories on any design amends.
- Liaising with clients about the details of their design concepts/briefs.
- Effectively feeding back on revisions of artworks.
- Effectively managing your own workload for your clients.
- Maintaining correct artwork files on our SharePoint system.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Fashion/design related Degree.
- Commercial handwriting.
- Graphic design skills.
- Pattern and print design experience beneficial.
- Computer literate.
- Advanced user of Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Good technical knowledge of garment construction.
- A confident all-rounder who can undertake any design brief given.

**Hours**:
Full time, 5 days.
