**Home Care Assistant - Scope to develop Complex Skills**

**Location - Chester £10.00 per hour - Weekly Pay - Mileage Paid**

**We have an exciting vacancy within the local Chester area for a Care Assistant to join our team and develop their care skills, working alongside our Branch Nurses and Care Staff with opportunity to progress. We are currently looking for a care assistant to visit our service users and assist them with medication, meal support, personal care, and socialising. In addition, this individual would have the opportunity to develop skills in areas of low-level clinical skills with further scope to train within more complex care.**

**Your role will include**:

- Supporting a young gentleman with Cerebral Palsy in his own home
- Promoting independence, assisting with food preperation and budgeting along with household chores
- Assisting with activities of daily living such domestic duties and personal care
- Maintaining and updating reports such as care plans
- Day shifts and Sleeping nights are required

**We’re looking for**:

- Paid previous experience as a care assistant is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A driver’s licence & your own car is an advantage but not essential
- Good professional and personal references

- Six months’ paid experience in care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker, personal healthcare assistant, care worker or similar advantage but not essential_
