**About the role**

A vacancy has arisen for Production Planner reporting to the Production Planning Manager.

The main purpose of production planner role is to provide an efficient production schedule in line with customer requirements and the companies budgeted performance targets.

The successful applicant should be a good team player, but also have the ability to work unsupervised. You must be focused and versatile, able to prioritise the workload and adhere to all deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail and good computer skills are vital. Experience in SAP would be an advantage but full training will be given. As a Production Planner your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Setting and managing the production schedule for the next 5 days.
- Supporting S&OP process - capability to run S&Op as cover.
- Generating the reports for the next 24 hours production - e.g. priority sheets, manning sheet and run plans.
- Processing of new customer orders and amendments
- Actioning lead time requests and sales enquiries.
- Maintaining internal and external stock reports
- Supporting projects
- Attending and representing Planning at meetings with accurate updates for key stakeholders
- Managing SFG stocks - reviewing and allocating existing stocks to new orders.
- Provide cover for the Planning Manager in their absence
- Working alongside the Raw Materials Co-Ordinator to ensure all materials are on site for the next 48 hours of production.
- Reviewing the last 24 hours of production and internal rejects to ensure the customer order is dispatched On Time In Full, plan any necessary remakes.
- Arranging the recovery of aging or rejected stocks via reworks or primary slits.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 8.30 until 16.30 or 9.00 until 17.00, 37.5 per week with 30 minutes unpaid break.
