We are currently hiring for a part time **Checkout Operator** at our **Stockport**depot. The role will include working on the checkouts to process customers transactions, alongside preparing customer orders for delivery the following day. You will be working as part of a key supportive team within the depot, where you will take ownership to ensure the process of tilling a customer’s order with good attention to detail and can work well in a busy environment.

**What will you be doing as a Checkout Operator?**
- Working on the checkout to process customers transactions
- Answering customer queries
- Preparing customer orders for delivery
- Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Supporting other departments as required

**What do you need to be a Checkout Operator?**
- Confidence using computerised tills and barcode scanners
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- Great with customers and aware of their needs, whilst being polite and friendly at all times
- Using Initiative and have the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
- Able to work in a high-volume, sometimes physically challenging role
- Able to work quickly and to deadlines

- Rate of pay**:£8.40 - 12.24** per hour
- Contract Type: Part time
- **13hrs per week**:

- **Sunday: 09:00am - 13:00pm.**:

- **Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 15:30pm - 18:30pm**:

- Weekly pay

Pay: £8.40-£12.24 per hour
