The Living Well service forms part of the wider transformation of community mental health services for adults and older adults and seeks to bridge the divide between primary care and secondary mental health care and physical health services.

The Living Well hubs in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale are being developed and we are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated administrator to support the team and help us develop further.

You will be required to provide an efficient and effective administration to the team. The teams comprise of consultant psychiatrist, associate psychological practitioners, mental health professionals, specialist homeless and dual practitioners wellbeing coordinator, peer support workers amongst many others.

To undertake the administration of all referrals received into the team.

You will be using an electronic patient record system

You will be answering the phones and talking to patients, carers and professionals

You will need to ensure high standards are maintained at all times and that work is produced effectively and efficiently in accordance with the Trust’s policies and procedures.

Be a flexible Team worker in a busy environment.

To undertake the comprehensive administration of all referrals received into the teams.

To ensure that all relevant referral information is recorded on PARIS and other relevant information systems and be responsible for the security of the information contained within these systems

To collate all relevant available information to enable the effective management of referrals received by the team.

To carry out general clerical duties including dealing with internal and external post, filing, scanning, faxing and photocopying documents. Ensure accurate inputting of patient information. Deal with incoming postal and electronic mail as well as telephone enquiries and give advice wherever possible, using own initiative.

Our admin staff provide support to all the team in the following areas
- Typing of clinical letters
- Answering the phone and dealing with queries from patients, carers and professionals and forwarding messages to the right person
- Liaising with the duty worker regarding urgent queries and concerns
- Inputting referrals on the patient electronic system
- Ordering stationary and equipment
- Being a positive and supportive team colleague
- Being flexible, patient and calm

The post holder will be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with all patients, service users and staff.

We require the person to work 37.7 hours per week Monday to Friday.
