**Contract Type**: Annual contract (6-8 weeks per year during school holidays)
**Hours**: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (during camp weeks)
**Pay**: £100 per day

Epic Camps run high-quality holiday clubs for children aged 3-13 across Newcastle. We combine sport, activities, and fun to provide an engaging and safe environment for children during the school holidays.

**The Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced **Camp Supervisor** to join our team. This role is ideal for a teacher or education professional looking to earn additional income and gain valuable leadership experience during school holidays.

As Camp Supervisor, you will oversee the daily running of one of our camps, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun. You will manage a team of coaches and support staff, liaise with parents, and deliver a smooth, enjoyable camp experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the day-to-day operation of an Epic Camp during school holiday periods.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
- Manage and support camp coaches and staff.
- Act as the main point of contact for parents and guardians.
- Support the delivery of engaging activities and maintain high standards of child engagement and behaviour management.
- Oversee camp setup and pack-down each day.
- Provide feedback and updates to the Epic Camps management team.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching/education experience.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure.
- A positive, proactive, and energetic approach.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

**The Offer**
- Annual contract for **6-8 weeks of work per year** during school holidays.
- Guaranteed pay of **£100 per day**.
