**RFP & Data Manager**

**Role**

We are seeking an RFP Manager to ‘own’ the RFP process, related content and its dissemination to external parties, including consultant databases.

The RFP Manager will co-ordinate and produce proposals (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP etc.) response whilst assembling a proposal team that has the skills to prepare and submit a winning proposal. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of allnecessary proposal procedures and governance. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

**Role requirements**:

- Technical background and experience with enterprise software.
- Two or more years of experience responding to technical RFPs.
- Excellent writing, organisational, communication and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines efficiently.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willing to challenge established procedures & processes to improve efficiency
- A self-starter with the ability to use their initiative
- Capacity to work independently
- Proactive & enthusiastic approach
- Willing to develop professional skills to incorporate new responsibilities

**Core Responsibilities**:
- RFP Process
- In collaboration with Sales, evaluate existing RFP process, identify areas for improvement and re-design to be ‘fit-for-purpose’
- Co-ordinate RFP responses, liaising with relevant stakeholders and with support of designated Sales representative
- Meeting proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering
- Managing responses through internal workflows to ensure appropriate sign-off from control functions, including legal and compliance
- Use Salesforce to monitor RFP stages in line with identified sales opportunities
- Regularly report on RFP activity
- Determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within the RFPs.
- Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, and coordinating with key providers and other internal contributors for additional information if needed.
- Produce quality responses to RFPs by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
- Obtain approvals and submit completed proposal to the requester.
- Establish priorities and target dates to ensure that the proposals are submitted on time.
- Maintain records of all proposals submitted and received.
- Gather and store feedback on proposals to help improve proposal content and process.
- RFP Content
- Manage the RFP system, RFPio, to ensure that new content is captured for use in future RFPs
- Ensure core content sections are suitably maintained to enable quarterly sign-off by relevant business lead.
- Work with Investment teams to build new content around their respective products
- RFP / Consultant Databases
- Manage relationship with eVestment Omni
- Liaise with the Data team to co-ordinate updates of consultant databases via eVestment Omni, ensuring data is accurately reflected in chosen databases and identifying areas for improvement
