**Maintenance Role**

**Location: Newcastle**

**We are looking for an experienced, multi-skilled Property Maintenance person to work for our Property Letting and Management business. Your day-to-day role will be to undertake various repairs and maintenance works on a number of tenanted properties, as directed by the Property Manager. These properties are situated across Tyne and Wear, and some trips to cover properties in Leeds. You may need to travel to Leeds on occasions to do some work there. You may be required to be on call for some jobs.**
- **Purpose**_

**The main purpose of this position is to assist with general maintenance by handling day to day maintenance issues of assigned tasks including routine inspections for the property.**
- **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**_
- **Perform cleaning duties including washing windows and collecting bins**:

- **Inspect light fixtures and repair light bulbs as needed**:

- **Supervise and oversee all installations by technicians**:

- **Maintain and clean and service equipment i.e., electrical tools etc**:

- **Monitor cleaners and report all unattended duties**:

- **Assist property managers with any issues and initiate ideas to assist with the maintenance of the property**:

- **Facilitate routine inspections for property maintenance across all apartments**:

- **Attend any emergency issues that may arise in the property**

**WORKING HOURS**
- **37 hours**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Full UK driving license and own transport**:

- **Proven maintenance experience or technical qualification**:

- **Own tools (advantageous)**

**Experience in the following**:

- **Basic Repairs**:

- **Painting and decorating**:

- **Basic plumbing and electrical**:

- **Basic woodwork and joinery**:

- **Cleaning**:

- **Garden maintenance**

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
