I am working with a school in Frome who are seeking to appoint two SEMH Learning Mentor for a January start.

This is a challenging role working with complex behaviour, however there will be a lot of support available and high pay to reflect this. You must be confident with challenging behaviour for this role to be suitable.

This is for **young people** who have a statement identifying **behavioural, emotional and social difficulties **as their primary need. Their aim is for every child to progress, with a positive attitude, preparing them for their future after school. The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming confident and independent learners in a rapidly changing world.

You will be offering **classroom support **to small groups of pupils to ensure they’re being encouraged to develop their learning, seeking opportunities and achieving goals.

You must have a **positive **and **resilient attitude **towards teaching, with a willingness to demonstrate commitment to your own personal knowledge of **SEMH**. In addition to supporting extra curricular activities and trips. The head teacher is looking for a **caring**, **patient **individual, who will be a role model for students, planning and marking may be involved.

**Working with Long-term Teachers**:
