**Salary**: Up to £37,000 (Dependant on experience)

**Hours**: 37.5h. 08:00 - 17.00, Monday to Thursday. 08:00 - 12:30, Friday
- Accountable for delivering a Procurement service that supports the needs of the business including but not limited to; purchasing performance for a commodity / project, working capital & delivery management, contractual obligation adherence, product cost and indirect cost savings
- Manage and measure external Supplier / Supply Chain performance escalating any risks and taking relevant actions to protect the company against unfavourable market trends
- Deliver the Procurement budget by achieving cost reductions; input to tenders and support the tender review process ensuring any risks to product costs are quantified and communicated to stakeholders
- Define, support and lead local commodity strategy
- Accountable for the delivery of internal Procurement KPIs and maintaining accurate procurement data within the Company ERP system, eg: actioning exception messages, updating lead times etc

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year working as a buyer
- Qualified or studying towards CIPs
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Be able to demonstrate cost savings achieved
- Be able to demonstrate contribution to sourcing decisions and inventory reduction
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and business processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing cycle and procurement interfaces
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
