Tudor Employment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bloxwich, WS2 for a Quality Inspector.
You will be working as a Quality Inspector in a busy, fast-paced, refrigerated environment. The client produced fresh and frozen pork produce.
Previous experience in a food production environment or quality inspection role would be advantageous.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Are you the right person for this role? The Quality Inspector will:
- Be comfortable handling produce
- Be happy working in a chilled environment
- Be able to work in accordance with food hygiene and safety procedures
- Possess experience in a meat production environment or quality inspection role
What will I be doing? Duties of the Quality Inspector will include:
- Checking QA checks, GMPs and returns are completed correctly
- Working to schedules on lab and organoleptic testing, internal audits and traces
- Maintaining Quality Management System to ensure constant compliance to relevant standards and legislation
- Hosting customer / third party audits and conducting preparation work for audits
- Dealing with customer complaints and audit / internal non-conformances
- Investigating root cause and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Maintaining supplier approval and completed questionnaires for our customer’s supplier approval
- Maintenance of the technical area
What are the hours of work?
This is a full-time vacancy, with usual working hours are 6:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday.
What is the rate of pay?
The Quality Inspector will be paid at a rate of £11/hour initially.
