**Actual Salary £21,379 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £26,308 per annum)**
**32.5 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30), 52 weeks per year**
We are seeking to appoint an Administrator and Social Enterprise Facilitator to carry out a range of administrative duties, and support the efficient operation of the administrative functions at our Social Enterprise location in Darlington. The role will also involve providing support to the Social Enterprise Shop Lead, including the delivery of work experience opportunities for children and adults with complex needs. Additionally, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the Clervaux Garden Farm shop and provide cover during the Shop Lead's holidays. All duties will be carried out in alignment with Ruskin Mill Trust’s vision, values, purpose, and method, ensuring the continued development and management of the shop’s services.
You will; have experience within a similar role preferably within an educational setting, proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
The Role:
- Reception and Administrative Support: Provide outstanding reception and administrative assistance to the school team, including data collection and entry, booking travel arrangements, and preparing materials for inspections.
- Meeting Coordination: Organise, schedule, and arrange both internal and external meetings, such as the coordination of accredited exams. This includes preparing and distributing agendas, accurately taking minutes, tracking action points, and ensuring updates are communicated effectively.
- Event Organisation: Support the planning and execution of school events, such as open evenings, parents’ evenings, and end-of-term celebrations, including managing invitations.
- Frontline Representation: Serve as the first point of contact for calls and visitors, while maintaining reception, meeting rooms, and shared areas to a high standard.
- Workload Management: Manage, prioritise, and organise a varied workload within tight deadlines, ensuring quality and consistency, including the completion of health and safety checks.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships both internally and externally, including with key stakeholders.
- Emotional Resilience: Exhibit emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations, fostering a supportive and effective environment
- Problem-Solving and Creativity: Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and resolve issues to empower participants and students to achieve their full potential.
- Safeguarding Commitment: Actively promote and support the safeguarding and welfare of all participants and students.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanour that consistently reflects the values and culture of the Trust
