Are you an experienced Finance Team Leader looking to join a growing and dynamic maritime company?

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this role of Finance Team Leader (Client Reporting) will be responsible for managing a small team of Finance Officers, to ensure the Monthly and Quarterly vessel reporting is carried out in line with our clients requirements while building long term and sustainable relationships which will add value to their Vessel Management service.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent-
- Minimum 3 years’ experience preparing accounts to Trial Balance-
- Client Partnering skills/line management experience-
- Delivered to within a client focused environment-
- Knowledge of Month end process-
- Ability to make process improvements-
- Highly experienced with all Microsoft packages, with Intermediate Excel, ERP experience or similar system to Agresso-
- Commercial and Business awareness/Ability to act as a Partner to our clients-
- Management abilities-
- Effective interpersonal and team working skills**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Manage a team of Finance Officers including appraisals and training new members of staff-
- Responding to Client Information Requests and acting as the Finance interface.-
- Add value to our clients and taking the lead on any Feedback/Improvements-
- Ability to carry out monthly account reviews with non-financial internal stakeholders-
- Build strong relationships internally and externally-
- Review of Monthly running cost reports/Cash Calls to Clients-
- Review of Monthly Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations within the close calendar.-
- Quarterly review of open purchase orders-
- Assisting in internal and client audits-
- Approval of Bank Payments-
- Line Management of Finance Officers/Setting Appraisals/Objectives-
- Undertake Ad-hoc duties/projects when required-
- Supporting the Financial Controller with any Special Projects-
- Work together as a team and provide department cross-functional support when required.-
