We We have an exciting opportunity for an HR advisor to join the team at Walker Filtration

The HR Advisor will provide support to the business on a day-to-day basis with a wide range of people issues and support the HR team with people related projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- ** Employee relations
- **providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and ER related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice. Including discipline and grievance, absence management and performance management processes.
- **Recruitment**:

- ** Systems, processes & data analysis
- **coordinate the HR systems and processes, working alongside the HR team to ensure they are managed consistently and effectively. Driving continuous improvement with HR systems and data analysis.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION - HR Advisor**

**Professional Requirements and experience**
- CIPD qualified
- Solid, generalist experience within an HR Advisor or similar level HR role.
- Sound, up to date knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations hand on experience.
- Experienced in competency-based selection up to and including manager level.
- Confident in the design and delivery of employee and manager training across all functions.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience of delivering HR projects and employee engagement activities.
- Experience of working with data and HR systems.
- Able to manage a varied workload, with multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- High level of computer literacy and full working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
