At Sodexo we are passionate about food and we place our patients at the heart of everything we do. To provide a great service we have a talented Catering Team behind us and we currently have a vacancy for a **Food Production **Supervisor** to join us here at **Doncaster Royal Infirmary.**

You'll supervise a team to ensure that we deliver service excellence across the catering operation, always ensuring that Health and Safety regulations (such as Food Safety and COSHH regulations) are followed.

You'll be responsible for managing your workload and that of your team, always ensuring that the preparation and service of meals runs smoothly. With a focus on hygiene you'll always ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean, tidy and glistening

**A few things about you**

It’s important to have a positive, approachable attitude as this is a customer facing role with supervisory responsibility. You'll need to have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate great team work.

You must be able to follow instructions and also have great computer skills (mainly the Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, Outlook).

You must have experience working in a similar industry (i.e. catering or food production) and also have previous experience supervising a team.

Basic food hygiene and Health and Safety certificates would be great but don’t worry if you do not hold either, as we would still love to hear from you.

**Can you lead a team? **We are looking for a **Food Production Supervisor** to manage and oversee the **production of meals for service** at the required times in line with the contract specification. Ensuring at all times that the** food produced is to the company’s standards** and** ensures the client’s, patients and customer satisfaction**.

You will **supervise all aspects of food production** from **preparation to service**, whilst **managing a small team of cooks **ensuring **efficient service** throughout the operation, **remaining compliant** with **company statutory regulations** regarding **hygiene, health & safety** and **cleanliness** in the **kitchen**,** maintaining good customer** and** colleague relations** at all times whilst **working within budgetary requirements**.
