**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The Groundworker will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and maintain sites for construction by clearing debris and levelling ground.
- Operate machinery and tools safely to assist in excavation and groundwork tasks.
- Lay foundations, drainage systems, and other groundwork as required.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity where applicable.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is essential.
- A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is preferred.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving project goals.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site.
