Senior Systems Application Engineer, Swindon

Do you have demonstrable hands-on 'Cloud’ and/or SaaS implementation experience and experience within a shared service environment? Due to business growth, we’re looking for Senior Systems Application Engineers to join our team in either Swindon, Newport,or Billingham on a permanent basis. The salary for this role is £37,235 - £43,000 per annum (DOE), and we will consider applicants wanting full-time or part-time hours. We are embracing a hybrid way of working, so this role can be mainly home-based, with anexpectation to travel into your closest office when required, this can be discussed at interview.

**What will you be doing?**

The Digital & Information (D&I) Applications Development & Support team within UK SBS will look to imitate the work of UK Government (Digital Services, Cabinet Office) in transforming user-facing services, to continue to improve the customer experience forsystem users, touching on everything required to make that journey work such as content, data, materials, people, technology, policy, tools, and processes.

To support the functioning of the D&I workstream, the Senior Systems Application Engineer will lead in the delivery of people, process and system developments and enhancements alongside a first-class support service offering’.

**_Key Responsibilities will include:_**
- Document system requirements, own Low Level Logical Design artefacts, Impact Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessment to support and guide architectural, technical, design, implementation, security, and data protectioncolleagues in delivering strategic roadmap deliverables
- Document Change Request, Continuous Improvement, Discovery prospects, and Business as Usual support requirements and functional specifications with a high degree of accuracy

**Who are we looking for?**
- Demonstrable hands-on 'Cloud’ and/or SaaS implementation experience in some or all of the following areas: HCM, Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement, Recruitment 'Cloud’ and SaaS implementations
- Lead conversations and facilitate discussion to translate functional business requirements into technology solutions
- Ability to document requirement and functional specification documentation for system enhancements and regulatory changes in support of clients
- Experience in multi-channel support and delivery function as a Systems Application or Process Engineer, Functional Process Business Analyst, Systems Applications Implementer, Systems Analyst or similar
- Demonstrable ERP systems experience including but not limited to Oracle systems (SAP, WorkDay, others), being able to demonstrate hands-on knowledge of Human Capital Management processes and ways of working
- Experience of working within a shared service environment
- Experience as a team lead for small projects, releases, and other implementations
