Due to continued expansion and we are looking to appoint a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and thriving team.
As part of the Maintenance team, you will provide a quality and controlled service to the operations and manufacturing teams, demonstrating safe working practices and time sensitivities.
The Maintenance Engineer will support with all planned and reactive preventative maintenance activities across all machinery and equipment for the business.
- Work in line with the schedule plan, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose.
- Update PPM schedules and ensure paperwork is completed and signed off.
- Support all training and monitoring of TM activities.
- Attend breakdowns promptly to ensure mínimal production downtime.
- Adhere to all health & safety legislation.
Maintaining factory services including gas, electricity, water, compressed air, effluent, heating & ventilation. As well as compliance work for: gas safety checks, PAT testing, insurance work, lifts & lifting tackle, EICR checks, forklift trucks, LEV, pressurevessels & compressors.
An experienced Shift Manager is required with an understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- As a multi-skilled engineer, you will have relevant education within engineering - either ONC, degree or similar.
- Experience of working within manufacturing.
- Experience of breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
- Facilities management experience.
- Ability to work alone and also within small teams.
- Proactive, confident, and well communicated.
