Cleaner Commercial and Domestic

We are a family run Manchester based property company with a varied portfolio who are looking for experienced Cleaners to join our management services team.

You’ll play an important role in providing safe and clean environments both commercially and domestically, to ensure we maintain the high standards we and our customers expect.

We are looking for experienced, reliable and flexible people who are happy to work across multiple locations within Manchester City Centre. This role is an essential part of our operation and key in assisting us to deliver products and meet our objectives.

The role(s) will be flexible full time / part time, working mostly, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm Ideally, we are looking for an individual to work between 15-20 hours each week

**Key tasks**:

- Work across multiple sites providing general cleaning services to public and private areas
- Report on condition of properties and highlight areas for maintenance where identified
- Ensure through cleaning of hygiene facilities and bathrooms
- Laundry services, washing, drying and ironing
- Complete ad hoc deep clean tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the business and our customers
- Maintain equipment provided to complete the job and ensure that consumables are replaced as and when required
- Carry out planned periodical work across a defined area including carpet cleans, steam cleaning and deep cleans
- Interpret and develop a knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals and the safe use of cleaning equipment
- Report any safety hazards to your manager i.e. locked fire doors, damaged flooring, replacement lightbulbs, etc
- Build relationships with all out our teams and offer an outstanding service

**About you**:

- You will be very experienced as a cleaner and have an understanding of troubleshooting cleaning tasks, suggesting and using alternative cleaning methods to achieve an outstanding result
- Previous experience in operating a wide range of cleaning equipment safely including carpet cleaners, steam cleaners and wet vacuums would be helpful
- You will be required to make suggestions for improving how we approach cleaning tasks within our premises
- You’ll be reliable, honest and hard working
- You will be dog friendly as some of our premises contain dogs
