Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for a large Pipe Coupling manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes
The company is the world’s leading supplier of mechanical couplings into marine, building services and utilities industries. Exporting product all over the globe and with a buoyant UK market this is a very progressive business built on solid foundations.
This will be a great opportunity for up to three operators who would like to develop their skills and develop themselves with an established SME

Shifts:
Fixed Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 8pm to 6am (10hrs per night, 40 hours per week)

**Duties**:
Role 1: Production Operator capable of Autogenous TIG welding of stainless-steel parts

Role 2: Operating CNC Mills - preparing steel fastening parts

Role 3: Press Forming and Weld Cleaning stainless steel parts

Initially there will be a period of time working 8am-4.30pm whilst training is carried out.

Previous experience in a manufacturing background

Experience of working nights would be beneficial

Good awareness of quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements

Good attitude and work ethic

Willing to learn new skills

Good English both spoken and written as you will be reading work instructions

CNC Awareness would be advantageous, but not essential For Role 2

TIG welding or similar experience - For Role 1

**Salary**:
Role 1: £12.56 an hour (£12.97/£13.46 after successful probation period)

Role 2: £12.56 an hour (£12.97/£13.46 after successful probation period)

Role 3: £12.18 an hour (£12.56 after successful probation period)
