Reporting to the Passenger Services Duty Officer, the Passenger Services Team Leader is responsible for the on-shift allocation of Passenger Service Agents in both the check-in areas and departure gates.

Ensuring the highest delivery of services to all passengers in a consistent, professional, safe and compliant manner.

**THE ROLE**
- Holding briefing sessions with passenger service agents at the start of their shifts ensuring any customer airline or Red Handling UK operating procedures are explained and confirmed prior to commencement of duties.
- Allocation of passenger service agents to the various check in areas and boarding gates.
- Overseeing and supervising the check in areas for all our customer airlines.
- Ensuring all departments in the Front of House operation have the correct staffing levels on the day.
- Liaising with GAL Passenger teams to monitor and control the flow and queuing of customers in the check in area.
- Supervising and overseeing the boarding of flights.
- Allocation of passenger service agents breaks and ensuring closure of desks once flights are closed.
- Representing RED Handling from a customer perspective if questions or complaints are raised from the front of house department.
- Mentoring and providing support to agents in all aspects of the Front of House operation
- Covering check-in and departure gates duties where required.
- Assisting passengers to resolve any issues or complaints.
- Being a standards ambassador for the Passenger Services department.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Airlines Supervisor: 1 year (required)
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in a ground handling Passenger Services Agent role
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Fluent in English - written and spoken
- Ability to work in part of a team or on own initiative.
- Excellent communicator.

Pay: £15.14 per hour
