**Role Overview**

Pink Elephant is one of the UK’s leading authorities in IT Service Management, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Sales and Marketing Assistant is a standalone role with full operational responsibility for the day-to-day execution of marketing activities and sales support across the organisation. You will manage all aspects of marketing, from campaign planning to digital marketing, content creation, and event coordination. In addition to marketing, you will provide essential sales support to the wider organisation, ensuring seamless integration between marketing efforts and sales initiatives.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks independently and enjoys a blend of creative and operational responsibilities.

**Key responsibilities**
- Communications: manage monthly newsletters and other communications as part of campaigns or events, including scheduling, creating, sending, reporting, and following up
- Collateral: assist in creating and maintaining sales collateral such as product brochures, case studies, and presentations.
- Webchat: manage the webchat function during working hours, deal with inquiries, and qualify leads as required
- Event Coordination: organise and coordinate events such as conferences, workshops, and exhibitions
- Website management: manage and develop the company website, with experience in WordPress being an advantage
- Budget Management: work within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service with a focus on ROI
- Sales Support:

- Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day sales activities.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and customer quotes.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system, ensuring accurate data management

**Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a hands-on approach
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience in Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), and WordPress is a bonus
- Knowledge of the IT Service Management industry is also beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a customer-focused approach.
