We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Martial Arts instructor to work on a part-time basis during term-time only to lead on this co-curricular activity.

Martial Arts is an important part of the extra-curricular programme. It is an optional, charged for activity and these sessions are held after school, usually in our Gym.

It is to be stressed that these classes are open to all our pupils (Year 7 - 13) and are intended to be recreational (although students may choose to prepare for exams if appropriate). We expect there to be an appropriate balance between the teaching and improvement of technique and enjoyment for the activity.

The rate of pay is £29.83 per hour. Hours of work are to be agreed but a minimum of one after school session, ideally two per week (4.15pm - 5.15pm)

This is an opportunity for a self-employed individual to work with delightful enthusiastic students and to develop martial arts further in the school.

**Experience**:
Of a relevant nature and preferably experience in teaching young people.

Qualifications (both professional and teaching):
Of a suitable quality and level coaching qualification for example recognised by the National Governing Body (NCB) for the martial arts discipline.
