Assistant Perinatal Practitioner/family Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has occurred to join CWP's Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team as a Family Support Worker. We are seeking an individual with a genuine interest in working with women and families in the perinatal period, who has excellent communication and multi-agency liaison skills and a has a good knowledge of safeguarding. Experience of working in the Perinatal Mental Health field is desirable but not essential.
The post holder will actively work with families and carers in their home and in the community working flexibly and will offer practical support and advice based on the identified needs of service users and their children.
The team's core working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Access to transport for work purposes is required.
Successful applicants will be located within the CWP Team and the caseload will predominantly be in the East Cheshire area. We have bases in Macclesfield and Ellesmere Port.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.
