With 14 stores dotted around the UK, we sell thousands of sweet related products and have been in the marketplace for over 60 years. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a great shopping experience.

We are looking to expand our team of colleagues in our Watford store (WD24 4WP) and currently have a vacancy for a full time Retail Assistant. Could you be the person we are looking for?

Working hours for this opportunity will be 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an **alternating** late night Thursday and Sunday morning.

So what can you expect to be doing in this retail assistant role?
- Working as part of a busy team, ensuring the best customer service is given to each customer
- Welcoming customers into the store, supporting them with their shopping experience if needed
- Providing excellent knowledge on products sold
- Helping customers with their checkout experience
- Involvement in regular stock replenishment
- Making sure the store looks inviting and tidy at all times
- Answering customer phone calls in a professional manner
- Supporting your colleagues where necessary

What experience are we looking for? We would ideally like you to have some experience in:

- A retail or wholesale environment
- Cash handling / till / checkout experience
- Having good organisational skills and a grasp of basic numeracy

For this retail assistant role we would also need you to have:

- The ability to communicate well at all levels.
- The drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- A friendly and approachable person who can build relationships with both customers and staff.

In return for your hard work we are able to pay an hourly salary of between £11.44-£11.84 per hour.
