This exciting role is for a Security Officer which is a vital function to the overall operation and guarding provision at 10 Upper Bank Street, Canary Wharf which is an international law firm headquarters. It is a client facing role with expectations to carry out access and egress duties and meet and greet functions at a variety of positions throughout the building.

**Job Requirements**:

- SIA Licence is required
- Security experience - ideally in the corporate sector
- Able to communicate with all levels of Management and Clients
- Able to work on own initiative, Team Player, Proactive and adaptable
- Work under pressure in a client facing position and flexible to change
- Able to carry out Patrols and long periods of standing.
- Fluent in Oral and Written English

**Areas of responsibility**:

- Carry out access control duties at varying turnstile positions in the building
- Carry out duties that may include standing at the shopping mall entrance, southwest door entrance or any other entrance that may require securing.
- Work in the loading bay entrance, checking vehicle entry verification and logging
- Work within the contractors pass officer demise
- Operation of Sky Visitor, including report management of the system where required
- Completion of Badge access and card creation and confident and if not trained already, be trained and competent in the CCure-9000 system.
- Oversee completion of administration within the CPO office, including DOB, Uniform Receipt and dispatch, dry cleaning.
- Confidence in using the Fire Alarm panel in the FCC, confident in the process of seek and search and incident command in the FCC
- Carry out building patrols, including walking up and down multiple flights of stairs on patrols that may last 1 - 2 hours.
- Able to respond to emergency incidents
- Carry out first aid response when directed by the control room
- Carry out escorts to contractors and visitors that may come to site
- There may also be further areas of responsibility on an ad - hoc basis.
- Carry out any other reasonable management request.
