The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial service across the Home Treatment/Mental Health Liaison team, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. There may be some weekend working.

Evidence of a good general education is essential together with good communication skills and good organisation ability. They must have good knowledge of Microsoft packages. Knowledge of working within the NHS will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will also be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
