Due to recent growth, we have a great opportunity at Ion Care & Support within our Enablement Centre in Maddison, Falkirk. We require experienced care staff to work in a purpose-built enablement centre, in which we host a range of enablement activities.

This would be a great path for someone to go down who is looking to make a real difference and be there helping others. We have our service users at heart and go above & beyond to ensure they are getting all the right care & support.

What can we offer you?

Permanent Contracts - Full time shifts available

Hourly rate at £12.60

Ongoing Support

Great referral scheme - £200 for every person you refer

Personal Development Plan - full comprehensive training courses and the opportunity to gain SVQ 3 qualification

Pension & Incentive scheme

**Duties for this role will include but not be limited to**:
Providing a full range of care and support services to service users within our enablement centre.

Provide personal care which could include assisting with washing, showering, bathing, and dressing. - always promoting dignity

Planning, developing, and hosting a range of social and enablement activities with residents.

Record keeping.

Supporting to meet nutritional and hydration needs - taking into consideration special dietary needs.

Interacting with service users, promoting independence & freedom of choice.

A warm and caring approach with a genuine desire to help our Service Users.

Willingness to develop further skills & keep up to date with legislation.

Ability to work safely and comply with health and safety legislation.

Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

A self-confident individual who can stimulate our service users to be motivated and involved.

The ability to work and relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.

A respectful approach to Service Users.

Reliable and flexible with shift patterns.

Location: Maddiston, Falkirk

Shift Pattern currently

Monday - Friday

Shift times - 8am - 4pm
